Airbrush spray tanning is a customized application of a sunless tanning solution that creates a natural-looking, even glow without UV exposure. At Salt + Glo, every tan is hand-applied and tailored to your skin tone and desired depth.

How long does my spray tan last?

Your spray tan typically lasts 7–10 days, depending on your skin type, prep, and aftercare. Proper exfoliation beforehand and moisturizing daily afterward will help extend results.

Will my spray tan look orange?

No. We use premium Norvell solutions designed to develop into natural, golden undertones — never orange. Each formula is carefully selected to complement your complexion.

How long does the appointment take?

Most appointments take 20–30 minutes per person, including consultation and application. Development time occurs after you leave.

How soon can I shower after my spray tan?

Rinse time depends on your solution and desired depth.
  • For Regular Spray Tans, they typically require 6–8 hours after application before you rinse.
  • For Rapid Spray Tans, they typically require 1–3 hours depending on your desired shade after application before you rinse.
You’ll receive personalized instructions at the end of your appointment.

What should I do before my appointment?

For best results:

    • Exfoliate 24 hours prior
    • Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup, and perfume day of
    • Shave or wax at least 24 hours before
    • Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment

What should I wear during my spray tan?

You can wear whatever you’re comfortable in — swimsuit, undergarments, or go without. Our artists are professional, discreet, and focused on your comfort.

Will it stain my clothes or sheets?

A temporary bronzer may transfer slightly, but it washes out. Once you’ve completed your first rinse, transfer is minimal to none.

Is spray tanning safe?

Yes. Spray tanning is a UV-free alternative to sun exposure. Our solutions are skin-friendly and applied by certified professionals. If you have any known skin allergies, it is recommended to consult with your physician before you book an appointment.

Can I spray tan if I’m pregnant?

We recommend consulting your physician prior to booking. If approved, we can offer protective measures during application.

How soon before an event should I get my spray tan?

For events, photos, or weddings, we recommend tanning 1–2 days prior to ensure your glow has fully developed and settled.

Do you offer group or bridal packages?

Yes! We offer curated packages for besties, parties, and brides — perfect for girls’ nights, bachelorettes, and wedding weekends.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 50% cancellation fee of the total is charged for appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment time. Once reserved, cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows are not honored.
